Owner Unleashed Day Training Program

Day training by definition falls somewhere between board and train & in-home training.

Traditionally it has been the the job of dog trainers--- to teach people--- to train their dogs. Makes sense right? It's the owners that have to live with the dog...you should know how to train the dog.

But...where else in our daily lives are we suppose to be the master of ALL trades? Is it realistic for you to learn how to train your dog and solve behavioral problems in a few short sessions?

Many pet dog owners struggle with the necessary skills or knowledge needed to train their dog to any functional level. I hear it all the time in public; "leave it! LEAVE IT!! sit-sit-sit!" And the walking...OMG. Alot of frustration happening at both ends of the leash to be sure.

This program offers an alternative to those of you who are successful experts in a different field, and would like to keep it that way.

Dog training done well is a mechanical, scientific and emotional skill that can take years to achieve. If you wanted to be a dog trainer...you'd have been one.

Together we'll set up 2-4 sessions per week training your dog in your home and a session at the end of the week to teach you the basic concepts to maintain the new behaviors. The advantages are great!

Quicker results because a professional trainer can get more done in fewer hours.
Your skill and effort required maintaining the training is less than what would be needed to train to that level yourself.
Your schedule is not encumbered upon, as we can do the training while you're at work or attending to other chores.
Training & behavior modification is done when and where you need it.

Coaching

If you tend to be a more "hands on" type of person and would like to understand the entire learning process, we certainly offer our services using the more traditional "Coaching" style as well, teaching you the fundamental knowledge you'll need to train your pup effectively. (I'm that way...so I completely understand). Some of our services such as Potty Training 101 and Pre-Puppy Household Set-up will obviously require your presence as well.

I'll explain it to your dog, but you'll need to hear it too.

Training is only one aspect of raising a happy, well adjusted family pet however. Socialization also plays a critical role in how comfortable your dog will be in many situations throughout his life. A dog with some basic "self control" skills will make those outings more productive and enjoyable for everyone.

Here's the goal: Pet dogs and their families are free to go! Free to go on calm, cooperative walks, free to go to dinner leaving your dog at home, free to have guest over without being barked at or jumped on.

To achieve this we will not only provide educated & experienced dog training, but are committed to providing professional, trustworthy and dependable service to you as well. After all...you're the one paying for his school.
